Providence has begun construction of three (3) offsite single family homes in the 1000 block of N. Miro Street– a block from Phyllis Wheatley Community School. When completed, the buildings will be 2-story 3-bedroom, 2-bath homes for sale for households who make 80% of the area medium income and below.
The camel-back style homes are approximately 1,300 square feet and come equipped with washer/dryer, stove, refrigerator, microwave hood, dishwasher, and wireless alarm system.
The project design was completed by Harry Baker Smith Architects and Sunrise Homes are serving as general contractors on the project. Construction is expected to be completed in June 2016. The houses are designed in accordance with Faubourg Lafitte master development plans.
