Kimberly oversees and manages Providence’s relationships with external stakeholders including investors, funders, community partners, media, and the general public. She is responsible for the planning and direction of Providence’s resource development and external affairs activities. She is also responsible for cultivating prospective funders and investors as well as developing new avenues for growth and revenue generation. Kimberly serves as point of contact for community development partners; potential and existing community-based partnerships, and partner opportunities. Her prior experience encompasses both the giving and fundraising components within philanthropy inclusive of 13 years working for nonprofit organizations as well as community foundation and corporate giving programs in Houston, TX. A graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, Kimberly is a Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) through the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance at University of Houston. A native New Orleanian, she was among the 2015 class of the Greater New Orleans Foundations’ Emerging Leaders program and currently serves as Vice-President of Programs for the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) New Orleans Chapter.
