Providence Community House

Resident Life

Many seniors in our local community are underserved in terms of available housing, food security, medical services and social connectedness – all of which can impact their overall health and well-being. Providence Community Housing is committed to finding ways and means to go beyond what is federally funded and offer more comprehensive services to our residents.

Social Connections

Social connections are vital to overall health and well being. Our residents benefit from the relationships they form within our communities thanks to the efforts of staff and volunteers who plan activities, meals, events and trips.

Wellness

Through the integration of our service coordination division, we have a team of representatives who align our residents with resources to assist them with living successfully in their later years. Our service coordinators are advocates and case managers for our residents in regard to navigating insurance, medical, mental health and rehabilitative needs. They seek out programs that educate residents on variety of topics, such as health, technology, and exercise. In one of our service coordinator’s own words, their job covers “anything and everything needed by a resident to keep them living independently and with dignity.”
