GiveNOLA Day is Tuesday, May 5th – Early Giving Opens Today
GiveNOLA Day, Tuesday, May 5, is the day New Orleanians come together to give as one and support nonprofits and causes that make our region stronger for all who call New Orleans home.
Providence Community Housing’s work in the New Orleans community exemplifies the spirit of GiveNOLA Day. With more than 21 affordable senior properties totaling over 2,300 units, Providence is focused on the needs of low income, elderly residents. Service Coordinators help connect residents with the resources and services they need — financial assistance, counseling, medical referrals, and transportation assistance, among other supports — to maintain their independence and stable housing.
Beginning today, Tuesday, April 28, you can visit Providence Community Housing’s GiveNOLA Day page to schedule your contribution early.
