 
Providence Community Housing (Providence) is an independent 501c3 community housing development organization founded in 2006 with a mission to produce & preserve affordable housing and help residents connect to services and opportunities that improve their quality of life.
Up until December 31, 2024, Christopher Homes, Inc. (CHI), an apostolate of the Archdiocese of New Orleans, provided property management services to 15 senior properties sponsored by the Archdiocese and six senior properties owned by Providence.
As of January 2025, Providence officially expanded into property management as part of our organization. Providence now has a property management contract with each of the 21 individual senior housing properties. Our team will continue to manage the daily operations and service coordination efforts that foster communities where our senior residents can feel at home and thrive.
