Ned Comer
Vice President of Property Management
As Vice President of Property Operations at Providence, Ned oversees the performance and management of more than 2,500 affordable independent living senior rental units across 21 properties in a five-parish region of Greater New Orleans. He is responsible for ensuring stable operations, regulatory compliance, and strong site-level performance that supports safe, stable housing for older adults. Ned brings more than 45 years of experience in real estate and related fields.
Ned Comer has operated multifamily portfolios of over eight thousand units and commercial property of more than seven million square feet. He has been involved in the acquisition, management, rehabilitation, underwriting, restructuring, redevelopment, and disposition of over a hundred million dollars of real assets. He is a past president of the Louisiana Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), served on the Board of Directors of the Home Builders Association of New Orleans (HBA), on the Board of the Apartment Council of Louisiana (ACLA), on the Board of Providence Community Housing. He is a licensed broker by the Louisiana Real estate Commission.
His real estate career began with Stan Weber & Associates in 1978. In 1981, he joined McKinley Properties, based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In 1985, Mr. Comer joined Property One, Inc. In 2000 Mr. Comer formed Sound Asset Services, Inc. a boutique management advisory firm. In 2014 he founded Focused Intuitive Management, LLC to further refine the relationships with his clients. Those firms have been involved in structuring and managing transactions for a broad range of asset classes including multi family, commercial, industrial, recreational, and residential assets.
Clients have included global and national financial intuitions, private equity funds, 501(c3) nonprofit organizations, and individual investors.
