Assistant Director of Finance & Asset Management
Ron serves in the dual-role of asset managing Providence’s Faubourg Lafitte affordable housing portfolio, as well as providing assistance to accounting and handling the organization’s human resources functions. He asset manages a portfolio of almost 500 units of affordable rental housing and 30 vacant parcels, ensuring their financial health, physical conditions, as well as meeting compliance standards and residents’ needs. Ron also manages Providence’s financial activities including reporting, project and cost accounting, as well as AP/AR. Ron previously worked in the banking industry as a business development director and as a branch manager. A graduate of Southern University at New Orleans with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Ron is a Certified Housing Asset Manager (CHAM) as designated by The Consortium for Housing and Asset Management, and a designated Asset Management Specialist (AMS), certified by NeighborWorks America.
