Providence and River District Partners Close on Rivana Apartments
Providence Community Housing and the River District partners closed on the Rivana Apartments project, marking an exciting milestone for the New Orleans community. Rivana Apartments will add 220 affordable rental units to a market with a significant need for accessible and affordable housing. Providence is proud to be a part of this development and the opportunity to continue our mission to build communities that enrich and strengthen our city.
The 220 units will be reserved for individuals making at or below 80% of area median income. The development will include a mix of studio units, one-bedroom units, and two-bedroom units and will also include a management office, fitness center, community room, swimming pool, secured building access and parking lot, and additional amenity space on each residential floor.
Construction will begin October 2026 and is expected to be completed in August 2028.Â
